LED toggle switch and LED STRIP INSTALLATION QUESTIONS?
Okay, bought two strips of LED and LED toggle switch. Have a question about installation. Each LED has two wires, one bronze (floor) and one silver (power). The switch has four points, please see (http://www.oznium.com/paddle-toggle) for the diagram. QUESTION: Would you drop the brass wire (ground) of each LED in the respective areas are, attatched both silver (power) cables to plug 12V output, then get a new enitrely wire about the same size of a pin 12v cable FUSED that I found on the fuse (which I have to put the inline fuse that way?) and then use that finially same gauge wire to connect the prong to a land somwhere near the switch. And finally turning a 470 ohm resistor between the last two legs of the switch? And I need any special connector for wirers attatched to the teeth on the switch, or I can just turn em of existence? And for the last time the wire size really matter for the supply of energy for change and gound?
if I read the right to change is good only 10 amps. use an inline fuse not exceed this. if your lights need more than 10 requires a larger switch. you nned to connect the hot Fusion 12 and the exit to the lights at Junction 12. have a cable to the chassis / body mass of the ground pin and a convinient chassis / body mass to light. Install cables on the switch with the connector ends meet. use # 14 AWG up to 15A, # 12 to 20A, # 10 and 30A. I can not tell the size of the cable without knowing the size of light. Amps total = hope thi watts/12volts help
