Wher I can buy an outdoor Solar Light that complies with the National Electrical Code in the U.S.?
I built a new roof on my house with a new gateway. I use a Light Outdoor solar operated so that I have to apply for an electrical permit from the city. Can anyone give me the manufacturer and the catalog number?
I do not think that the CNE has nothing to do with a light powered by solar energy independent. They might have a UL listing but that is a totally different thing. I guess none of solar-powered lighting unit that is available in a retail store would be necessary approvals. You do not need an electrical permit, no one is going to inspect. When you think about it, we are only talking about a flashlight with a solar panel to charge the battery. No need permission. Guns, yes, no flashlights.
