If you had to have been responsible for the transmission fluid and replaced as recommended service interval, probably would be worth the $ to wash. Since you have run the liquid than 80,000 miles, chances are decent that does not help the car out. I have seen vehicles has not replaced the fluid in 80 000 + miles in a few thousand miles of a color that broadcasts out of them. Transmission is a liquid detergent high hydraulic fluid. The transmission fluid is saturated with debris over time and can not carry more. The particles leave the suspension of the transmission and sit there. By replacing the liquid starts collecting these things and moving it around and can leave deposits which should not, which in turn leads to increased pressure that can cause a transfer of self-destruction.
