In Port St. Lucie, Florida to what extent should be a smoke detector or a recessed light bulb?
My husband is an electrical inspector in another state. It is necessary to use the National Electrical Code as a guide. He said usually three feet, but their condition may be a building code inspector that make it different. Not in the end but the end eelectrical building code. Someone in the office of the town should have its name.Hope this helps
