iam trying to step back an old 24 volt transformer, but I do not round?

I have an old transformer 3000 watts iam trying to build a 24volt, 240 volt secondary premary but I do not how many laps are in the primary and secondry side.

there are plenty of things to calculate. circuit voltage open is higher than load voltage. and there is some loss, generally the ratio of returns that will be the same as the ratio of tensions, if 240/24 or 10 to 1, but if you have 10 to 1, the open circuit voltage is 24V, and can fall when loading many volts. What is the highest voltage you can take? I sit down to their turns ratio which then calculate the loss of copper wire in its primary and secondary theoretical and see if they may drop more low that you can take. math is a little unknown because no data on its main transformer, and there may be a bit of trial and error with math and when really try.
